Serene Environment for Healing
Paradise Creek specializes in the treatment of sexual compulsivity disorders for adult men in a residential setting. It provides a home-like place of safety and peace that allows patients to reflect and engage in a treatment plan designed specifically for them. We use a combination of Cognitive-Neural Restructuring Therapy, which facilitates change at the cellular level of the brain, and a Task-Centered Approach designed by Dr. Patrick Carnes, PhD., the pioneer of sexual addiction treatment. The combination of these 2 models helps provide the patient with concrete strategies that help facilitate sobriety and achieve long-term changes on a biological, psychological, social, emotional and spiritual level.
Residential Treatment for Male Sexual Addiction
Paradise Creek Recovery Center is located on a 16-acre campus in Raft River Valley, Idaho. It is tucked away from the hectic fast pace of life to provide a safe and serene environment where you or a loved one can effectively find recovery from addictions. While the primary focus of treatment is sexual addictions, we recognize that addictions typically come in clusters, and at Paradise Creek, we also deal with those clusters. Men who attend treatment here cut loose all the anchors that hold them back from true freedom. These anchors include, but are not limited to abuse, childhood trauma, deaths, divorces, out-of-control sexual behaviors, and other addictions. Most of the outcomes from these anchors are shame-generating behaviors that must be addressed to produce the healing and freedom that you or your loved one needs. An Experienced Treatment Team
Paradise Creek Recovery Center has a Treatment Team that has a combined 55 years experience in treating sexual issues. The staff work as a team to make your healing experience an important turning point in your life as you discover and heal from the traumatic wounds that have been inflicted from the development of maladaptive, compulsive, and sexual behaviors. Your healing experience will include a minimum (but not limited to) of at least 4 individual sessions a week between three CSAT licensed therapists, 4 process groups per week and family therapy through a HIPAA approved webcam system, as well as music and recreation therapy. You will also participate in 12-step meetings, therapeutic-based exercise, and experiential groups, which includes ropes courses, fireside experiences, art-assisted groups, self-discovery groups, meditation trail experiences, and many other powerful experiences. Principles of recovery seminars, spiritual counseling, cyber-recovery, musical experiencing, and narratives will be other important parts of your healing experience.
