Pacific Teen Treatment's Groups
Daily Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is an integral part of the treatment process. In order to successfully address the underlying, core issues that our clients are struggling with it's imperative that they receive individual care and attention. One of the ways we address this is by ensuring that all clients receive one on one therapy every day they are in treatment. Upon entering the program each client will receive a treatment team consisting of a Primary, Secondary and Family therapist so that we can assure that there will be someone from the treatment team on shift every day.
Group Therapy
While we place a heavy emphasis on treating the individual through daily one on one therapy, group therapy is a integral part of our program as with the adolescent population there is so much value and insight that can be gained from interacting and engaging with one another through group therapy. The group therapy we provide includes but is not limited to process groups, psycho-educational groups, DBT, CBT and expressive arts therapies such as music therapy, drama therapy, art therapy and writing therapy.
Family Focused Treatment
At Pacific Teen Treatment we make sure that the entire family is part of the treatment process to ensure that parents and family are in a position to support one another and communicate effectively. Parents will participate in parenting support groups, including Parent Effectiveness Training, family therapy sessions, and multi-family group therapy. While parents are welcomed and encouraged to participate on site, family travel to Pacific Teen Treatment from all over the country and we can provide remote therapy via phone or skype sessions.
