TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), is a safe, non-invasive, effective treatment option for individuals suffering from Major Depressive Disorder who have not seen satisfactory results from antidepressants. These pulses will feel like tapping on the scalp. When delivered at the correct frequency and intensity, the pulses create localized electromagnetic fields which have the ability to stimulate nerve cells in the brain. Although treatment plans are individualized, the typical course of treatment is 5 times a week, for 6 weeks. Each individual treatment session takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and patients can resume daily activities immediately after treatment. TMS does not use anesthesia, and patients are fully alert for the duration of the treatment session. TMS can be used as a stand-alone therapy, or in conjunction with medication and psychotherapies. TMS does not have the same side effects as traditional medications, and is generally well tolerated. The most common side effects are mild headache and sensitivity at the site of stimulation.

A2 is a community comprised of a network of adolescents, young adults, and families who are focused on changing their lives by working through negative emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. At Claymont Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with opioid addictions. Located in Claymont, Delaware, our treatment center provides MAT programming in a convenient outpatient format. MAT combines the use of prescription medication with talk therapy to provide a whole-person approach to achieving long-term recovery. At our clinic, we can prescribe methadone or buprenorphine for patients, and we offer individual counseling sessions to provide a comprehensive approach to care. Participating in MAT is associated with a wide range of patient benefits, including better employment outcomes, decreased illicit opioid use, and increased social functioning. MAT can also improve treatment retention, and the physical benefits of taking MAT medications can help people participate more effectively in counseling. Respected organizations like the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) recommend MAT as an effective form of opioid addiction treatment, and methadone clinics and other rehab facilities have offered this intervention for years to help people rebuild healthy lives.

Sanare Today is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that provides group treatment for individuals in crisis or who are struggling with maintaining emotional stability. The groups are held 4 days a week to provide more support and direction than traditional outpatient care. IOP groups are provided separately for adolescents and adults. The IOP is an effective step down transition for individuals coming out of a hospital or as a preventive measure to inpatient treatment. Each group session runs for 2 ¼ hours. Family support groups are scheduled weekly or every other week. Individual and family sessions are scheduled on an as needed basis. This is determined through the collaboration of the Primary Therapist and the patient/client. Sanare Today offers day, evening and weekend programs in several different office locations.
