Located in Sacramento, California, Sacramento Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers medication-assisted treatment for adults age 18 and older. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) combines the use of medication and counseling to treat opioid use disorder. The prescription medications used in MAT have shown to help people manage uncomfortable physical symptoms of withdrawal, such as cravings and nausea. Along with medication, MAT involves counseling that individuals may need to begin processing any underlying concerns that may be contributing to their drug use. During sessions, patients can safely address things like past trauma, develop healthy coping skills, and learn how to manage negative emotions. By participating in MAT, people are less likely to use illicit drugs again, therefore decreasing their risk for being involved in drug-related violence or getting into legal trouble. Ultimately, MAT can help improve treatment outcomes and result in lasting recovery.

Veritas Counseling is an outpatient alcohol and drug treatment program. It is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), meeting several days a week. The purpose of our program is to help people "get well and stay well". We are especially interested in encouraging our clients to long-term recovery a day at a time. Our clients have a Primary Counselor with whom they meet regularly and a recovery group providing fellowship, support and insight. There is a Family Program, an Aftercare Program, an extensive education track and plenty of insight -oriented supportive group and individual counseling. The primary themes of our recovery program are encouragement, truthfulness and kindness.

Pathways Recovery has been providing drug & alcohol addiction treatment services since 2010 when we opened our initial detox treatment facility. In addition to medically supervised drug & alcohol detox with 24 hour supportive care, we now also offer alcohol & drug rehab services at our men's residential addiction treatment center with trauma therapy, dual diagnosis, and psychiatric care. For those that need an addiction treatment program after work, we also offer a 6 week intensive outpatient program. We now also provide care for women in a beautiful women's only addiction treatment center in a private luxury property located on a rural country property in South Placer county.

Insurance covers up to 100 percent of the treatment and therapeutic modalities that Newport Institute offers. We accept all major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many young adults who receive treatment from Newport Institute using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested doctor-to-doctor calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process. Our goal is to ensure that families receive the maximum coverage, so they can access the highest-quality treatment.

At Evolve Treatment Centers, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based residential treatment for adolescents 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, aggression, defiance, trauma, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. At Evolve Walnut Creek, we believe treatment works best when it is individually tailored. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission in order to develop a customized, highly detailed treatment plan that is constantly updated based on treatment progress. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry; groups on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety; and daily academic support. (Families from out-of-state participate in family therapy remotely.) Teens also participate in experiential therapies (e.g. equine, music, art, fitness, yoga, hiking, and meditation) as well as 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses.
