ORCI counseling center's Primary Focus is on high psychiatric and low substance abuse needs for either 3-5 day Mental Health IOP level of care or Outpatient level of care. Our group sessions address subjects such as relationships, relapse prevention, triggers, childhood trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, thought disorders, psychosis, life skills, discharge planning, anxiety as well as depression. ORCI "Clinically Owned, Operated and Driven".
ORCI's treatment is Trauma Informed and client driven. We strive to understand the whole of the individual who is seeking our services to recognize the signs and symptoms of trauma and thus avoid any possibilities of any retraumatization. Our key components to trauma informed care is to create a physically and emotionally safe environment, establishing trust and boundaries, collaborative relationships. Orci's approach also considers and modifies policies procedures and treatment strategies from the top down in order to ensure they are not likely to mirror the common characteristics of traumatic experiences. While greatly challenging, our program is highly empowering as patients return to their own environments after IOP and/or outpatient treatment and must voluntarily abstain from drug and alcohol use or use their coping skills to deal with their mental illness which requires a greater amount of diligence. Such programs help patients build strength and confidence in their abilities to gradually make better choices and take control over their lives and well-being. Take the first step to help.
