PrairieCare provides each individual patient the psychiatric care truly needed with specialized psychiatric services for all ages. Our comprehensive care includes Inpatient Hospitalization focused on safety and stabilization, to address acute health and safety concerns; Residential Services for youth ages 10 to 18, with an average length of stay between two and four months; Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers intensive crisis stabilization, specialized psychiatric assessment, and intensive therapeutic services; Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) offering programming four or five days per week, with psychoeducation and group sessions; and Clinic/Outpatient Clinic Services providing specialized psychotherapy, psychiatry, medication management, and evaluation. At Newport Academy, our mission to empower teens and restore families takes into account every aspect of a teen’s well-being—physical, psychological, social, familial, educational, and spiritual. Our primary focus is helping children and adolescents ages 5-18 with behavioral and emotional struggles. We use an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that helps kids return to healthy, stable and productive lives. Our whole-body approach promotes adequate nutrition, sleep, exercise and especially time in the outdoors. Using telehealth, we continue to provide individual therapy for youth and adults, family therapy sessions, intensive programming – including group therapy – and medication management.
