As the treatment of mental health and addiction disorders requires addressing each patient's individual needs, the ability to individualize that treatment is essential. The Bergand Group offers varying levels of intensity in outpatient services, both individual and group. Efforts are made to match clients with appropriate therapists. We also employ a variety of senior clinicians who specialize in a variety of issues. Trauma recovery is also an essential component in its treatment plans and offers a unique equine therapy program for those who may benefit from such intervention. The Bergand Group has a drug free/abstinence philosophy as its foundational approach to addiction treatment. However, The Bergand Group also recognizes evidence-based and appropriate use of a variety of medications to assist or treat addiction and co-occurring disorders. Our physicians are experienced and trained in the use of a spectrum of medication usage including Suboxone, an opioid pharmacological intervention that is used for detoxification and short to long term maintenance purposes.
