OCC group counseling programs are a highly effective way to address difficulties and resolve mental health challenges while helping and connecting with others. During an ongoing series of sessions, participants experience emotional support, understanding, and encouragement for their troubles. It is common for individuals to gain an increased self-confidence and healthier perspective through the shared group experience. Group therapy can be instrumental in helping individuals to heal from many types of emotional and psychological struggles–including depression, anxiety, shame, fear, anger, trauma or grief. Led by OCC licensed, certified behavioral health therapists, group participants gain insight into their own thoughts and behaviors and also benefit from the suggestions and support to others. Through shared experiences, support and ideas, participants gain clarity about their struggles and how best to overcome them. Virtual Teen Self Esteem Group
Six-week group Ages: 15-19 yrs. $75.00/wk Facilitator: Nicole McAnally-Turner, LCPC, NCC Bio on our website. *Meet other teens that also would like to work on increasing their self-esteem. *Coping skills for low self esteem. *Learn and utilize daily affirmations. *Increase in self reflection. *Learn how to reframe negative judgements. *Gain trust and support from same-aged peers.
