Youths in the inpatient program receive intensive services in a safe and supervised setting. Our goal is to help them stabilize and regain a sense of well-being so that they can make progress toward healing. Generally, adolescents remain in the program for four to seven days, depending on the severity of their symptoms. During this time, our multidisciplinary team provides 24/7 monitoring and emotional support while guiding each patient through transformative programming. Our staff has extensive experience working with young people and a shared goal of providing age-appropriate treatment that can help each patient get on the path to better health. Adolescents in this program receive care according to their needs. Treatment plans may include medical care, medication management services, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.

The inpatient program, which lasts an average of five to seven days, is a short-term program that can help people stabilize and learn techniques for managing disruptive symptoms. This outcomes-driven program is designed to give patients the opportunity to develop the skills they need to return home or successfully transition to a lower level of care. In a safe and secure environment, individuals who are struggling with acute concerns can receive 24/7 monitoring from an attentive team of experts. Seacrest Recovery Center- Ohio is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services also a certified Joint Commission (JCAHO) substance abuse treatment center. At Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital, our continuum of care includes an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adolescents ages 13-17 who are suffering from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, hallucinations, mood swings, self-harm, suicidal/homicidal ideation, and other concerns. Patients may enter the IOP directly or after completing a higher level of care, such as inpatient treatment. Program duration is determined on a case-by-case basis, with the average stay lasting from four to six weeks. Patients attend treatment Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week for three hours a day. The flexible schedule of our IOP allows patients to continue attending school and participating in other daily living activities while also receiving the focused care they need. For those who are unable to take part in in-person treatment or can benefit from virtual services, we offer telehealth options. In both settings, patients engage in care that is tailored to meet their unique needs. With our help, your child can learn to manage their symptoms and embark on a path to lasting wellness.

You may require additional support as you transition back to your daily routine, and we will strive to ensure that you have the resources you need to navigate life after treatment confidently. Each person who completes programming at our treatment center receives an aftercare plan that can help them make progress toward their long-term goals. Discharge planning begins at the start of treatment and involves input from the patient, their referral source, and members of their support system as well as their clinical services team and psychiatrist. Recommendations for follow-up services depend on the individual needs of the patient and may include outpatient medication management or therapy, local support groups, case management, or a lower level of care.

Looking for a step down level of care? Midwest Recovery Center offers PHP, IOP and outpatient programming for patients struggling with addiction, alcohol and mental health disorders. We treat co-occurring disorders in which patients suffer from both addiction and mental health disorders like mood or thought disorders. We provide a safe environment and caring staff at our facility. We hope to have the opportunity to help you or your loved one. Typical PHP, Partial Hospitalization, programs are usually 5 days, about 6-8 hours of programming a day and include group and individual group therapy sessions. We have comfortable and spacious group therapy rooms, private offices for our one-on-one therapy sessions with our licensed counselors and providers. Typical IOP, Intensive Outpatient, is 3-4 days a week, about 3-4 hours per day. We offer flexible schedules because we know that many patients are trying to go back to school or find employment and may work during the day time.
