Looking for a step down level of care? Midwest Recovery Center offers PHP, IOP and outpatient programming for patients struggling with addiction, alcohol and mental health disorders. We treat co-occurring disorders in which patients suffer from both addiction and mental health disorders like mood or thought disorders. We provide a safe environment and caring staff at our facility. We hope to have the opportunity to help you or your loved one. Typical PHP, Partial Hospitalization, programs are usually 5 days, about 6-8 hours of programming a day and include group and individual group therapy sessions. We have comfortable and spacious group therapy rooms, private offices for our one-on-one therapy sessions with our licensed counselors and providers. Typical IOP, Intensive Outpatient, is 3-4 days a week, about 3-4 hours per day. We offer flexible schedules because we know that many patients are trying to go back to school or find employment and may work during the day time.

We are a supportive transitional living facility that provides care and structure beyond a traditional halfway house. Our on-site clinical staff provide tailored services for men transitioning from an inpatient facility to independent living. We help men 18 years of age and older, who are in recovery from a substance use disorder, and who have at least 30 days of continuous sobriety. Sunset House opened its doors in 1996, and we have helped hundreds of men and their families know a better tomorrow free from drugs and alcohol. Our 34-bed facility on a 1.5 acre campus is in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens, and includes multiple residential buildings as well as laundry facilities, a food pantry, and fitness gym.
