About

Outpatient Eating Disorder and Mental Heath

Extremes in our emotional and psychological states can lead to imbalance, avoidance and mindlessness. When we think in extremes, all-or-nothing terms, and judgmental views, it leads to imbalance in our relationships with ourselves and with others. This imbalance is often related to extremes in other areas of our health, such as eating, activity, and sleep. Eating too much or not fueling our bodies enough, eating due to stress, boredom, or unwanted, painful emotions—these are all ways we cope with or respond to extremes in our thoughts and emotions. These experiences can lead to further distraction and disconnection from our life values and goals. We are here to help you reestablish your values and goals in life by focusing on a more balanced perspective and awareness of your mind, body and behaviors. We will work with you to explore how you think, feel and act are connected and influenced by each other, and will provide you with tools and support to help make changes that will create a more balanced mind and lead to a restored wellbeing.

Evidence Based Care in a Private Setting

Our mission is to provide the best quality care to the Central Ohio community and beyond by utilizing effective treatments backed by science. As the only group private practice dedicated to evidence-based eating disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults in Central Ohio, our highly trained experts strive to provide excellent treatment in a calming, welcoming setting that is an alternative to medical-based clinics and centers. We treat all eating disorder concerns, as well as general mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety disorders, and coping with life stressors. In addition, we specialize in all 3 evidence-based treatments for PTSD, including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and EMDR. We also have 2 Certified Intuitive Eating Counselors. It is very important to us that we use treatments backed by science, while understanding the unique needs of the individuals with whom we work. With our vast array of experience and training, we do our best to match your needs with one of our experts.

Helping You Find Your Balance

We understand how difficult it and vulnerable it can feel to reach out for help when you are struggling with behaviors and symptoms that cause fear, shame and guilt. We believe that everyBODY should be valued, cared for, and loved. We provide a judgment-free zone, and help you find freedom from your own judgments, perfectionism, and criticisms. We also know that you want the best for yourself or your loved one, and that's why we strive to provide the best care and concern from the moment you contact us. Our office staff is here to guide you through the process and to set you up with the therapist that will be the best fit for your needs. If for some reason, we are not the right fit, we will provide direction for you. Our goal is to make sure that you find a treatment provider who will help you attain your goals and your freedom from your burdens, and find your balanced life.
