Program At A Glance
The OCD Institute Texas provides specialty treatment for OCD, anxiety, phobias, depression & PTSD. Our expert therapists have all received intensive training in treating these disorders. They utilize evidence-based treatment, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, for children, adolescents, adults, older adults, families and couples. Therapists work collaboratively with clients to develop an individualized plan that maximizes the chances of successful outcome. Our program is unique in that we offer a full continuum of care, including specialized outpatient clinic, and for those that need more intensive treatment we offera partial hospitalization and a residential program. Who We Treat
We provide Outpatient Services for children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, our Residential Support Program and Intensive Outpatient Program are designed for adult clients who are either unable to access outpatient treatment or are not benefiting from their current outpatient treatment.
We specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders, namely Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Social Phobia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Specific Phobia, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
We also specialize in treating Phobias, Depression, OC Spectrum Disorders, such as Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Health Anxiety/ Hypochondriasis, Olfactory Reference Syndrome, Tic Disorders (Tourette's Disorder), Trichotillomania, and Compulsive Skin Picking. These disorders are similar to OCD because they involve repetitive behaviors that function to reduce anxiety or tension, much like rituals in OCD.
In addition, we treat co-occurring depression, as individuals who struggle with anxiety or obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders also often have significant depressive symptoms. We are now the OCD Institute | Texas
