Oasis Tarzana’s program offers treatment for addiction as a primary issue and prides itself on meeting the needs and goals of the program and residents. Our Medical Doctors are Addiction Medicine Physicians who specialize in addiction psychiatry and management services. They come with over three decades of experience in the substance abuse field. Residents receive counseling and psychoeducation from doctoral level clinicians, licensed mental health therapists and substance abuse professionals for co-occurring, primary, substance abuse and mental health issues related to an emotional, behavioral, or cognitive disorder, also known as dual diagnosis treatment. Counseling includes individualized, goal-oriented therapeutic and educational treatment to support recovery efforts. With treatment planning, a goal will be for stabilization and tools for the best life possible. Treatment plans are personally tailored and includes quotations from the resident in goal setting that is a collaborative process between counselor and resident. Certified and Registered Drug and Alcohol Counselors shall provide support to therapists and provide case management services to residents.
