Discover Your Oasis
At Oasis Recovery, located in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, we are dedicated to providing a supportive environment for people who are recovering from addiction and alcoholism. Through extensive avenues of support, our program aims to accompany and assist recovering individuals, throughout each phase of their process. Whether one is seeking intervention, an outpatient program, or extended aftercare, we are here to support them. Through a diverse array of therapeutic services, with a focus on individualized care, our goals are: to help facilitate freedom from addiction, alleviate suffering, renew inspired action, and uncover a newfound purpose for each individual who walks through our doors.
Highly Trained and Holistically-Minded
At Oasis we have a highly trained, trauma-informed, and holistically-minded staff. Our therapists are extensively educated and qualified to treat not only addiction but also mental health. Our therapists have credentials such as LCAS (licensed clinical addiction specialist), LCSW (licensed clinical social worker), CSAC (certified substance abuse counselor) and CCS (certified clinical supervisor). Our staff is professionally trained in different modalities to treat addiction, mental health and trauma using mindfulness, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), somatic experiencing therapy, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). Our therapy groups include mindfulness-based interventions, processing, relapse-prevention, yoga, education on addiction/trauma, breath work, psychodynamic therapy, attachment-based interventions, coping skills, gender specific groups, journaling, and much more. Three afternoons per week, we offer freedom through adventure therapy as a way to reintegrate individuals into a life they can enjoy clean and sober.
Our Integral Approach
We advocate an integral model that brings balance to clients who live in an imbalanced world. An integral model is one that takes the most valuable perspectives from science, mindfulness, art, sociology/cultural anthropology, and therapeutic approaches, and incorporates these in ways that are practical and deliver results. As humans, we are all connected through our trials and tribulations in life. Our clients often come in feeling broken, misunderstood, alone and in a toxic cycle of addiction that they haven't been able to break out of on their own. Innately we want to feel like we have purpose, that we belong, and that we are living a life that aligns with our values. At Oasis, we help to bridge the gap between what a client is coming from to who they truly want to become. All parts of you are welcome here!
