Day One is a program of Oakland Family Services, a private, non-profit human service agency that has been providing quality services to families and the community since 1921. We offer caring, confidential, research-based mental health and substance use disorder therapy for all ages. 
Treatment Services
Day One treats mild to moderate mental health disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. We can help with trauma due to verbal, physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, domestic violence, bullying, or the death of a loved one. Day One also offers a variety of outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment services for substance use disorders—group therapy, individual therapy, psychiatric services, family sessions, peer recovery coaches, and drug screenings.
