Spring Mountain Sahara offers Intensive Outpatient Programs for children age 9-11, adolescents age 12 to 17, adults 18+, and seniors 55+ who may be experiencing behavioral and substance use issues, but do not require the supervision and 24-hour care of an inpatient program. The program is designed for patients who need more specialized care than is usually offered in most traditional outpatient clinics but are not necessarily a danger to themselves or others. Most find that their problems are causing significant disruptions to school, work, and relationships with friends and family.

Hope Medical Counseling Center is now open and prepared to serve our communities. Our team of counselors is well-diversified in personal backgrounds and training experience and ready to bring their unique skillsets to our communities. As clinical director, program developer, and clinical supervisor, I am making great efforts to ensure Hope provides quality, comprehensive care. As a person of color, I am mindful of implementing culturally-sensitive services and will continually modify our treatment interventions to help provide the most comfortable healing environment. As a professional counselor with over 20 years of experience, workshop facilitator, state-approved clinical supervisor, as well as a counselor educator in Counseling and Human Services (I still serve in the role as Associate Professor at UNLV), I have a strong reputation in Nevada and strive to implement best practices, thorough training, adherence to ethical standards, and still promote a positive environment for both clients and the clinical team.
