Northern Illinois Recovery typically is a 90-day structured program but offers flexibility with programming and length of stay. Having strong ties with employers and schools (both academic and vocational), we strongly encourage our clients to take advantage of these opportunities when it is the clinically indicated right time to make that step. Furthermore, NIR has a great staff to client ratio better than 1:1, allowing clients to “open up” in both small group and individual settings to achieve clarity in the past and direction for the future. Medication management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and experiential therapy are a few of the many modalities our therapists employ. Having a team of trained professionals and empathetic yet keen operational staff, Northern Illinois Recovery clients will enjoy some freedoms in early recovery while feeling supported all the time.
