We provide a full continuum of care at locations around the country, including residential treatment centers; a full suite of outpatient programming, with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services with a flexible number of days per week; telehealth; and alumni programming.
Newport Institute provides mental health treatment to young adults ages 18–27, guiding them from self-destruction to self-esteem and resilience, by identifying and healing the underlying issues that cause maladaptive behaviors. Based in compassion and founded on clinical excellence, our integrated, comprehensive approach to care addresses all aspects of an emerging adult’s life—setting the stage for autonomy and self-empowerment. At Newport Institute, every client receives care that focuses not just on their immediate physiological needs, but also on the underlying psychological issues that catalyze what is being seen on the surface. Then you will move into your room on a residential wing and begin a daily schedule of activities and appointments individualized to meet your specific recovery needs.
Welcome to Hazelden Betty Ford’s nationally recognized addiction and mental health treatment center for teens and young adults (ages 12-25), specializing in comprehensive residential and outpatient care for co-occurring disorders. Substance abuse issues can be complex to diagnose and treat in adolescence/young adulthood, especially when other mental health challenges like depression, anxiety or ADHD are also in the picture. For example, symptoms of depression can become more severe with substance use and, vice versa, substance use issues can intensify as depression worsens. At Hazelden Betty Ford, multidisciplinary care teams—psychiatrists, nurses, mental health therapists, addiction counselors—work in concert to develop each patient’s personalized treatment plan and effectively address all the complexities, all together. Unlike most other teen/young adult dual diagnosis rehab centers, our psychiatrists, medical staff and counselors are on site to provide continuous care and address needs as they arise. And, as a national center for behavioral health, we offer services and support for your whole family’s well-being because we understand that families heal and grow best together.
