We provide inclusive and affirming in-person psychotherapy and counseling services to children, adults, couples and families in our locations in Durham & Raleigh, and telehealth therapy services to anyone in North Carolina who wish to heal and grow into their best life. We treat a wide range of conditions including depression, post traumatic stress disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, prolonged grief, eating disorders, interpersonal and relationship distress, anger problems, non-suicidal self injury, adjustment problems, and addictive disorders in individual, couple, family and group formats. Our providers are supported to focus on what matters most in therapy and counseling: a trusting, empathetic, collaborative relationship that delivers scientifically supported treatments tailored to client goals and needs.
Effective, State of the Art Services
All of our highly-trained therapists are culturally-affirming, as well as strengths and relationship-focused. We have a variety of therapists on staff whose approaches range from experiential and exploratory, to cognitive and behavioral, to insight-oriented. All are guided by Attachment Theory and Self Determination Theory, two theories of development and change with scientific support for healthy individuals and relationships. Our Child and Adolescent Therapy Program offers individual and family therapy services including play therapy by practitioners trained in Sand Tray, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy, and Trauma Focused-CBT. Our Adult Therapy Program offers individual and family therapy by practitioners trained in CPT, PE, EMDR, DBT, Exposure and Response Prevention, AEDP, ACT, EFT, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, IFS, CRAFT, and CBT. Our Couple Therapy Program offers couple-focused services by practitioners trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, Discernment Counseling, and Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy. We aim to serve North Carolina with flexibility and expertise.
