Recovery at the Crossroads is an outpatient treatment center that focuses on co-occurring substance use disorder primary care. We provide a variety of counselling and support services to individuals living in South Jersey. We have small groups and licensed clinicians in direct care roles. The modalities offered in RAC have a holistic approach and feature trauma informed care with PhD’s on staff that offer EMDR Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy as well as other ancillary services to help treat our clients in the form of wellness, adventure, music and art therapies. The environment of care is most commonly extended care “partial care” with sober living support. This approach models the appropriate outpatient level of care wrapped in a social sober living housing structure to aid the rehabilitation process and minimize distractions to enhance the focus on recovery. This level of care also has an Orthodox Jewish track available to those of the Jewish faith who wish to maintain a Glatt Kosher culturally compliant experience in treatment, while maintaining the necessary linkage to their spirituality.

We employ a client-centered approach and believe clients guide the process of therapy. A Better Tomorrow Counseling Services utilizes a wide spectrum of traditional and holistic therapeutic techniques. Some therapeutic techniques employed by staff are Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Hypnotherapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Parent Child Interaction therapy (PCIT).
