Insurance/In-Network Provider
Insurance covers up to 100 percent of the treatment and therapeutic modalities that Newport Institute offers. We accept all major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many adolescents who receive treatment from Newport Academy using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested doctor-to-doctor calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process. Our goal is to ensure that families receive the maximum coverage, so they can access the highest-quality treatment. What Makes Us Different?
Rather than simply addressing symptoms and behaviors, Newport’s clinical model achieves sustainable healing by treating the underlying trauma and attachment wounds that manifest as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and co-occurring issues such as substance abuse, self-harm, and eating disorders. We use a documented and outcomes-validated treatment model with standardized protocols, session goals, and group curriculum. In addition, we recognize that family involvement is key, and our model shifts the focus from the patient as the “problem” to the family as the solution. Our philosophy of care builds secure attachment for clients to safely be vulnerable, to explore interests, discover passions, and gain meaning, purpose, and insight to replace high-risk behaviors. Full Continuum of Care
We provide a full continuum of care at locations around the country, including residential treatment centers; a full suite of outpatient programming, with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services with a flexible number of days per week; telehealth; and alumni programming. All of our programs have received accreditation from the Joint Commission for Behavioral Healthcare, the nation’s most respected healthcare accreditation body. Our continuing care program provides ongoing support through virtual sessions, and our robust Alumni department keeps former clients connected through online and in-person events and support groups. Whether an adolescent needs a higher level of care, is stepping down from residential care and needs continued structure and community in our Partial Hospitalization Program, or needs several days per week of after-school support through our outpatient services option, our range of programming meets each young person and family where they are.
