How We Approach Healing
Using an outcomes-validated treatment model, Newport achieves sustainable healing by treating the underlying trauma and attachment wounds that manifest as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and co-occurring issues such as substance abuse, self-harm, and eating disorders. In addition, we recognize that family involvement is key, and our model shifts the focus from the patient as the “problem” to the family as the solution. Our philosophy of care builds secure attachment for clients to safely be vulnerable, to explore interests, discover passions, and gain meaning, purpose, and insight to replace high-risk behaviors. What Makes Us Different?
We meet our clients where they are with tailored treatment plans that address the physical, psychological, social, and educational needs of adolescents and young adults. We also provide support for family attachment issues and difficulty launching into adulthood. Whatever life stage our client is in, we are here to support their growth. Our Therapies
Newport Institute’s clinical model includes individual, group, and family therapy to foster connections and heal family dynamics. Individual therapy benefits from modalities like CBT, DBT, and EMDR, enhancing self-awareness and communication. Clients also engage in Adventure Therapy, creative arts, Equine-Assisted Therapy, yoga, meditation, and more. Call Newport Institute now for a free 15 minute consultation - (475) 325-5634
