Our Programs
Newport Healthcare, the nation’s leading behavioral healthcare provider for individuals ages 12-35, is the parent company of Newport Academy for teens, Newport Institute for young adults, Center for Families in Pennsylvania, and the PrairieCare family of programs in Minnesota. Newport Healthcare offers individualized, comprehensive treatment that encompasses psychiatric care and medication management, evidence-based clinical and experiential modalities, life skills programming, and academic support. Based in compassion and driven by outcomes, Newport’s programs guide clients to long-term recovery from high-acuity mood, anxiety, and co-occurring issues, such as substance use disorder, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and disordered eating/eating disorders. Our mission is to empower lives and restore families. Our Locations
With residential and outpatient locations across the United States, our treatment centers offer comfort and natural beauty to cultivate transformation and healing from teen and young adult mental health issues. Located in states including California, Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Utah, Virginia, Washington State, and Wisconsin, all of our Newport facilities are in close proximity to major cities and international airports. Our PrairieCare locations in the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota provide a full continuum of care, including an inpatient psychiatric hospital for ages 28 and younger, and residential, outpatient, and clinic services for all ages. National Clinical Outreach Team
Our National Clinical Outreach team helps teens, young adults, and families find the treatment option that’s best for them, whether that’s a Newport Healthcare program or somewhere else within a trusted network we have vetted. Our Clinical Outreach Specialists serve as trusted guides and advocates with their designated geographical area, providing the support and information that helps families take action and get young people into treatment. They also partner with referring professionals, including mental healthcare providers, school professionals, employers, and physicians, to assist with patients' admissions, maintain ongoing communication throughout treatment, and help with discharge planning.
