Newport Academy is the leading provider of behavioral health treatment for children ages 7–11 and teens ages 12–18. Our family-centered, integrated approach fosters sustainable healing from mental health and co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosis, eating disorders, and substance use. Individualized treatment plans include medical and psychiatric care, strengths-based academics, and experiential modalities including, art, music, yoga, and outdoor adventure therapy. Newport provides integrated, evidence-based care using proven therapeutic modalities, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Attachment-Based Family Therapy to strengthen family connection and understanding. Each patient’s treatment plan is customized to meet their social, emotional, physical, and educational needs. What Makes Us Different
Our clients participate in regular family therapy sessions to reestablish parent-child communication and connection. Additionally, experiential activities help build trust, self-esteem, resilience, and other critical life skills. These include music and art therapy, yoga, and Reiki.
