Rather than an afterthought, as it is in many treatment programs, Newport Academy’s educational program is an essential aspect of our clinical model. Our educational program is fully accredited and provides enhanced tutoring within a therapeutic environment, with individualized educational plans. When teens return to their home school after completing treatment with us, they bring with them concrete study and organizational skills along with enhanced engagement. Our specialized curriculum is designed to close proficiency gaps and help students grow their strengths, while building executive functioning, time management, and motivation. Newport’s educational program also offers credit recovery options for students who have failed classes or missed pertinent instruction as a result of their mental health. We ensure that students stay on track with their education and their college and career goals while receiving the compassionate and comprehensive treatment they need to achieve long-term healing. Full Continuum of Care
Newport Academy provides options for young people, aged 13-24, and families at each step along the journey of healing. Our full continuum of care includes residential treatment centers; a full suite of outpatient programming, with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services with a flexible number of days per week; continuing care through virtual sessions; and a robust Alumni program providing online and in-person events and support groups. All of our programs are accredited by the Joint Commission for Behavioral Healthcare. Through an in-depth assessment process, our clinical experts determine the optimal level of care for each client, at one of our residential or outpatient locations around the country. Clients can step down from our residential care directly into our outpatient programming, to ensure a smooth transition and consistent clinical approach. Or an adolescent can enroll in our outpatient programming to receive the ongoing support, structure, and community that’s not available in weekly therapy. No matter where a young person is on their path to recovery, we provide the customized care they need to thrive. Campus Safety
