Our Approach
Newport Academy recognizes teen behavioral issues in ages 12-17, such as substance abuse, eating disorders, and other co-occurring disorders, as symptoms of underlying mental health challenges. For teens and families to achieve long-term, sustainable healing, treatment must address these root causes. Our outcomes-based approach is founded in compassion, expertise, and unconditional love. Data on our outcomes shows consistent positive results in measures of well-being, depression, and anxiety, with patients’ improvements, on average, exceeding levels of clinical significance during and after treatment. Nationally Accredited Academics
At Newport Academy, academics are an integral part of the treatment experience. Our licensed and highly trained teachers work closely with students, parents, and their current school to create a customized academic plan. Our goal is to ensure that our clients are set up for success when they return to their home school, with the tools they need to thrive. What Makes Us Different?
We meet our clients where they are with tailored treatment plans that address the physical, psychological, social, and educational needs of adolescents and young adults. We also provide support for family attachment issues and difficulty launching into adulthood. Whatever life stage our client is in, we are here to support their growth.
