Montrose Behavioral Health Hospital is a leading choice for inpatient behavioral health treatment in the Chicago area. We offer a premier inpatient program for children ages 5-12 who are suffering from acute symptoms of behavioral health concerns. Inpatient care is typically a short-term experience that can help patients stabilize and improve their functioning so that they may return home or step down to a less intensive level of care. In our child inpatient program, young people stay at our hospital for about five to seven days, though a young person’s exact length of stay depends on their needs. Children in our inpatient program receive structured programming, personalized support, and round-the-clock care from a team of compassionate professionals. Some of the concerns we can treat in our child inpatient program are oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), intermittent explosive disorder, psychosis, and bipolar disorder. We also offer inpatient services for children who have autism spectrum disorder and provide treatment for various co-occurring concerns, including anxiety, phobias, self-harm, and addictions.

Located in Chicago, Illinois, Montrose Behavioral Health Hospital for Children & Teens is a premier provider of inpatient treatment for adolescents ages 13-17. Our multidisciplinary staff provides expert care for young people who are struggling with behavioral health concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Our team also serves adolescents who have co-occurring concerns like eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and certain substance use disorders. Additionally, we offer high-quality inpatient care for young people who have autism spectrum disorder. Our adolescent inpatient program is best suited for those who are in crisis and need round-the-clock care in a safe setting to stabilize and regain a sense of safety and well-being. The typical length of stay in our adolescent inpatient program is about five to seven days, depending on individual needs.

We give IV ketamine treatments for various conditions (including depression, OCD, PTSD & Pain). We do this in a safe and supportive environment. We have treated hundreds of patients with ketamine, and our success rates are among the highest in the country.
