The Eating Disorder Center of Montana specializes in treating all kinds of eating disorders for all genders. With a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, we take an evidence-based and holistic approach to care, seeking to treat not just eating disorder behaviors, but also the root cause. We guide our patients to address their stressors, moving beyond disordered coping to free them to live wholeheartedly. Program services include a combination of individual, family, and group psychotherapy, nutrition counseling and rehabilitation, psycho-education, supervised meal encounters, yoga, music therapy, art therapy, outdoor time, and more, all in a welcoming and cozy setting. At EDCMT, we provide intake appointments to all patients, which include an hour with a registered dietitian and 90 minutes with a psychotherapist. After the initial intake appointments, we recommend a specific level of care based on the unique needs of each person.

Turning Winds is a residential treatment program for teens that integrates a non-traditional, therapeutic process that facilitates constructive growth in our students that are struggling with a diverse mix of behavioral challenges. These key program components include academic credit recovery, equine therapy, international service projects, outdoor and recreational therapies, substance abuse education, and trauma informed care. Turning Winds utilizes a unique blend of professionals that melds multiple disciplines to tailor a clinically driven, personalized relationship based treatment approach for teens that enroll; thus, inspiring a path of self-confidence, self-reliance, happiness and success.Our program can accommodate a total enrollment of 42 students with an average length of stay that lasts between 6 to 12 months. However, we extend into longer periods of treatment as deemed clinically appropriate.

Chrysalis Therapeutic Boarding School offers a nurturing and supportive environment, with the clinical sophistication of a residential treatment center. Our program fosters healthy identity development, self confidence and a sense of belonging. The beautiful campus is intentionally located in northwest Montana, where the landscape offers year-round recreation for our robust adventure therapy program. The tranquility of living on a lake in the midst of the Rockies creates a peaceful environment for healing and growth. Students are 13-18 years of age, and attend the school for one year or more. Family involvement is imperative, and a crucial component to the program.
