Outpatient Addiction and Mental Health Treatment
At My Doctor Medical Group in San Francisco we offer a comprehensive and team-based intensive outpatient addiction treatment program that can include a combination of medical care, diagnostic testing and medications; psychotherapy; integrative medicine; group support; medical nutrition therapy; and Traditional Chinese Medicine; self tracking technologies; psychotherapy, art therapy, and case management. We specialize in the team-based outpatient treatment of alcohol use disorders, opiate addiction, chronic pain and opioid tolerance, and benzodiazepine dependence with slow Ashton-style tapers. Our medical director Paul Abramson MD is certified to prescribe buprenorphine (a.k.a. Suboxone or Subutex) and is expert at induction, stabilization, maintenance, and detoxification. Our medical doctors and psychotherapists customize a program to the needs of the individual, and we work together with each patient to optimize their odds of achieving their life goals.
