Multi Concept Recovery (MCR) is an intensive outpatient center centrally located in the Media District of Burbank, California. Multi Concept Recovery offers a client-centered, unique, approach to treat addiction/substance abuse and mental health for adults and adolescents . Our substance use treatment program is separate from our mental health (ONLY) program. Our individually crafted approach affords each client the opportunity to make an educated decision on what treatment approach works best for them. We are not a one size fits all treatment center. Clients are initially exposed to a variety of therapeutic modalities, encouraged to choose which modality works best for them, then empowered to continue on with that modality for long term success. We are In-Network with almost every insurance!
Unfortunately we do not accept Medi-Cal. MCR believes that every person is biologically, demographically, and philosophically different, and strives to personalize each individual's treatment program in order to achieve long-term wellness and mental sustainability. Multi Concept Recovery provides PHP (6 hours of treatment daily), and IOP (3 hours of treatment daily) levels of care for primary mental health, primary addiction, and co-occurring disorders, including individual, group, and family therapy, as well as other evidence based treatments. Our program can be tailored to fit the working professionals schedule (substance use only) young adults, and parents needing care while balancing daily life responsibilities. Our Adolescent Mental Health program begins at 3:30pm and runs until 6:45pm so to not interrupt the adolescent’s school schedule. We have two different programs available in our substance use treatment program for those that have an aversion to the Traditional 12 Step Model of Treatment. The Emotional Intelligence and Mindfulness Program integrates contemplative practices with the science and research on emotions and is a viable option for those seeking a different approach to enter and sustain recovery. The Primary Mental Health program for adults and adolescents focuses on emotional awareness and management to assist the person in building empathy and connection with others. All of our therapists are trained in EMDR therapy so all of our clients experience trauma focused care and get to work through adverse life/childhood experiences as well as the more severe types of trauma including PTSD.
