Women’s Partial Hospitalization Program
Montecatini is an outpatient treatment center for adolescent and adult female-identifying and non-binary individuals age 16 and older who are struggling with eating disorders and co-occurring concerns, including addictions and other mental health disorders. Patients can access our partial hospitalization program (PHP) as a form of step-down care after residential treatment, or they may enter the PHP directly. Typically, clients remain in our PHP for 30-90 days; however, your precise length of stay will depend on your individual needs. Participants in the PHP usually meet six days per week and may participate in a range of therapies, including evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). In our PHP, clients can also meet with medical staff multiple times each week to receive medical care and may also see a psychiatrist once a week for support with medication management. Our robust group therapy offerings include process groups, expressive arts therapy groups, and groups addressing topics such as discharge planning, self-esteem, and body image. Women’s Intensive Outpatient Program
In Montecatini’s intensive outpatient program (IOP), individuals age 16 and older can receive supportive and structured eating disorder treatment as they work to transition back to their daily lives. Clients usually stay in our IOP for around 30-90 days and can receive treatment for both eating disorders and co-occurring concerns during their time with us. Our IOP offers four-hour program blocks staggered throughout the day, and clients have the flexibility to choose which program time they attend, with programming available six days a week. Each IOP session typically includes a meal and a group therapy session. In addition to CBT and DBT interventions, the treatment methods in our IOP may include motivational interviewing and 12-Step programming as appropriate. Our group therapy offerings include a wide range of treatment modalities and topics, such as nutrition, spirituality and the 12 Steps, and mindfulness and meditation. At the IOP level, we also offer weekly meetings with medical staff as well as individual and family therapies. Our Treatment Center
Montecatini’s outpatient treatment center, located in Carlsbad, California, offers expert care delivered by an experienced and empathetic multidisciplinary team. Our staff members strive to work collaboratively with each client to deliver individualized treatment that honors the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. At both levels of our outpatient programming, we provide access to experiential activities in which clients can use newly developed skills in real-life settings. These opportunities might include restaurant outings, grocery shopping trips, and group dinners. We also offer transitional housing for clients in our outpatient programs who may need safe, convenient accommodation. And we provide comprehensive aftercare support so that clients can leave treatment with the resources and referrals they may need to continue their recovery journeys. At Montecatini, we aim to help our clients build the tools they need to enjoy futures that are not only productive but joyful. Our approach to treatment is hopeful and focused on helping each client work toward long-term recovery. Call Montecatini - Women’s Outpatient now for a free 15 minute consultation - (442) 239-2997
