Plan Your Recovery offers individual, family, and group therapy for addiction and co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. In collaboration with other Clayton Behavioral providers we can arrange medical detoxification to help you stabilize safely and comfortably and ongoing psychiatric treatment.

CBT Group for Addiction and Co-occurring Disorders

Our CBT program is designed to help people with alcoholism or addiciton make daily efforts toward change with minimal disruption to their daily lives. Each morning group includes brief education on a recovery-oriented topic, review of successes and challenges of the prior day, and a planning process to help patients meet their goals. This approach makes use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, counseling approaches for addiction supported by scientific evidence.

SMART Recovery

The SMART Recovery 4-Point Program employs a variety of tools and techniques to help individuals gain independence from addiction and addictive behaviors. Participants are encouraged to learn how to use each tool and to practice the tools and techniques as they progress toward Point 4 of our program - achieving lifestyle balance and leading a fulfilling and healthy life. This group is peer-run and free to participants. Clayton Behavioral provides the space for meeting as a courtesy but does not oversee the group.

This weekly meeting is free to Missouri residents and is facilitated by a substance use disorder professional. It is for all loved ones of persons with addiction.
