About
Our Mission
With 20 years of experience, EDCare has become one of the nation's foremost centers for the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders. We understand how difficult and scary the journey to recovery can be and believe the more support an individual has, the better. EDCare is committed to empowering individuals to let go of their eating disorder identity by teaching the necessary tools to make healthy, long-lasting changes. By matching the skills, passion, and excellence of our interdisciplinary team with the specific needs of each patient, we strive to create an environment where both patients and staff are able to celebrate successful eating disorder recovery.
Unique Treatment Approach
Recovery from an eating disorder is possible, but quality treatment is necessary. Our unique evidence-based treatment model is centered around five core concepts we call CAMSA®. It is designed to teach and empower patients to reconnect with their authentic selves through - Connection, Acceptance, Mindfulness, Sense of Self, and Action.
Individualized Eating Disorder Treatment
Our individualized treatment program includes psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medical evaluations, individual and family therapy sessions, group therapy, nutritional education with our registered dietitians and in-house chef, individual expressive therapies like art and movement, and much more. These forms of personalized care are offered through our four levels of care: Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Transitional Intensive Outpatient Program (TIOP), Evening Intensive Outpatient Program (EIOP), and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (AIOP). We also offer affordable housing options for individuals in our PHP level of care.
