NorthStar Transitions is a licensed and Joint Commission accredited drug and alcohol treatment program serving adult men and women. NorthStar offers sub acute detox, residential (inpatient) and outpatient treatment services. NorthStar is an in-network provider for Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Beacon, Cigna, Compsych, Humana, Kaiser Permanente, Mines and Associates, Multiplan, Optum (United Healthcare/UMR),Poudre Valley School District, Rocky Mountain Health Plan, TriCare TriWest (VA), TRU Pace, and UCHealth Employee Plan. At the residential level of care, clients reside in an intimate 15-bed home in the mountains just outside of Boulder. Our outpatient levels of care include day treatment (PHP) and/or intensive outpatient (IOP), and have in person (Boulder) and virtual options. Clients are encouraged to work or be in school while participating in IOP.
