Residential Addiction Treatment
Located in Center Point, Texas, Starlite Recovery Center offers residential treatment for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns. Active-duty military members and veterans can benefit from our Operation Liberty program for specialized substance use disorder care. Similarly, first responders can benefit from the Harbor of Hope Program. We also provide services for those who have co-occurring mental health concerns. This treatment level provides people with 24-hour support along with basic medical care and medication management. In addition to residential services, we also offer on-site detoxification, a process that helps patients rid their bodies of addictive substances and achieve stabilization. After detox, each patient continues with individual, group, and family therapy sessions based on their personalized treatment plan. Our Treatment Approach
At Starlite Recovery Center, we understand that military members and veterans face unique challenges, such as increased exposure to trauma, violence, and injury. Our team utilizes a variety of evidence-based treatment methods to ensure that each individual receives the care they need to begin healing. Based on someone’s specific needs, their care plan may include modalities such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness practices. Our expert team members lead group therapy sessions multiple times each day, covering topics that include grief and loss, relapse prevention, and Seeking Safety. We also combine several different recovery models, including 12-Step programming, SMART Recovery, and Refuge Recovery. Admissions Process
Our admissions process helps our team determine if our military program is right for someone and which services might be the most beneficial. We require that patients have a primary substance use disorder diagnosis, but we also treat those who have co-occurring concerns, such as posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety disorders, depression, and bipolar disorder. Each person participates in a 24-hour observation period to determine their current level of substance use. This helps our team decide if detoxification should be the first step or if the person can enter residential treatment directly. Our admissions staff also reviews each person’s medical history, treatment history, and goals for recovery.
