Formerly the Assessment and Relationship Counseling Center (ARC2) is in Okemos, MI and made up of a group of clinicians aimed at providing quality mental health services. Community Healing Centers treats individuals and families who are experiencing mental health disorders primarily involving substance use (alcohol and/or drugs) and trauma. We have programs for infants, their parents, adolescents and adults. We offer adult inpatient treatment for substance use disorders in Kalamazoo, a crisis center in St. Joseph, outpatient facilities in Kalamazoo and Niles and recovery housing in Kalamazoo, Niles and Sturgis. We have specialized programs for children and women. We offer intensive outpatient programming. Our inpatient program offers detoxification from alcohol and/or drugs in a medically supervised setting followed by a short-term residential stay. Our outpatient services assist children, parents and adults achieve healing and recovery in person-centered individually designed programs. All of our therapists have master's degrees in social work, professional counseling or psychology. We offer individual and group therapy. We welcome individuals of all races, backgrounds, sexual and gender orientations.

Sanford Comprehensive Treatment for Eating Disorders (Sanford CTED) offers a full continuum of care for eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. We are located 12 minutes from Grand Rapids, in Marne, Michigan. Programs are residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient, and outpatient groups. Therapy may be individual or group; we utilize CBT, DBT, ACT, interpersonal, and family systems therapy. Clinical therapists and registered dieticians lead the groups. Emotion-focused family therapy (EFFT) is our primary family modality. Therapy includes immediate family members whenever possible, especially younger individuals still at home. We practice a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach, which honors body diversity and encourages movement for health and enjoyment, not to lose weight. Our ultimate goal for everyone we treat is to return to intuitive eating behaviors – eat when hungry, and stop when full.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality mental health treatment. Our office has multiple mental health therapists who work along side our physician guided medical team to provide psychological services and medical care together. This allows us to provide treatment like no other facility in the area, offering both psychotherapy and medication management if necessary, but not required if you have a primary care that you like. We also offer psychological and neuropsychological evaluations through our doctorate level neuropsychologists who can perform testing to further understand diagnosis and brain function. We also offer substance abuse programs, and medication assisted substance abuse programs using Suboxone.

Sanford Outpatient Center is conveniently located 12 minutes from Grand Rapids, Michigan, in Marne, Michigan. We offer substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health treatment to adults 18 or older. We also provide all of our programs in-person or with telehealth. The Outpatient Center has flexible, innovative, individualized recovery programs for those with work, child care, school, or other obligations. Outpatient treatment allows for continuing everyday activities while integrating effective strategies to manage recovery. Sanford Outpatient Center is a great place to gather for treatment and community support. We welcome current patients, family, and Sanford alums. A multidisciplinary team of medical and clinical professionals backs all our programs. Programs and services include medical and psychiatric assessments, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient groups, medication management & MAT, alums & family support, and supportive living for PHP & IOP. Our facility is comfortable and beautiful, with custom furniture, original artwork, a beverage station, the Sanford Cafe, a discreet entrance, and free parking.
