We serve all ages - ranging from children as young as 5 years old to teenagers to adults. At Wedgwood, we aim to serve and meet the needs of “anyone who walks through our doors” - whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, life changes, grief, PTSD, or other mental or behavioral health challenges. Founded in 2015, Sanford Behavioral Health is licensed and accredited as an addiction, eating disorder, and co-occurring mental health treatment facility serving Michigan and beyond. Sanford House at John Street is a residential addiction treatment facility for adult men (18 and older). The male-gendered counterpart to Sanford House at Cherry Street for Women, John Street, offers 24/7 structured living. We provide detox, clinical programming, medical management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and male-gendered therapeutic approaches. There are 20 beds for residential treatment, and we back all our programs with science-based practices, wellness activities, and a private chef. Programs include individual, group, and family therapy, a full continuum of care, and long-term support. Services for addiction include psychiatric and medical assessments, medical detox, residential programs, day programs(PHP), intensive outpatient programs, and in-person and telehealth options. Sanford has assembled a psychiatrist-led team of medical, clinical, and support personnel providing medication-assisted, evidenced-based treatment to residential, outpatient, and telehealth patients.

Sanford House at Cherry Street is a full continuum addiction treatment center for adult women 18 years and older. Sanford is led by a growing team of medical, clinical, and support personnel providing medication-assisted, evidenced-based treatment to residential, outpatient, and telehealth patients. We offer adult female-gendered individuals an intimate, homelike, and decidedly non-institutional environment to heal. Residents live onsite while they attend group, individual, and family therapy sessions, receive medical and psychiatric check-ups and participate in wellness activities. This option provides 24/7 access to the support of our medical team. Our clinicians offer specialized care and follow a program accentuating each woman’s inherent values and strengths. Co-ed sessions and outside recovery or 12-step meetings are included in the program. Rigorous excursions rekindle previous passions for nature, art, movement, etc.

Sanford Outpatient Center for Addiction Treatment is conveniently located 12 minutes from Greater Grand Rapids, in Marne, Michigan. We offer substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health treatment to adults 18 or older. Programs are offered in person or via telehealth. The Outpatient Center has flexible, innovative, individualized recovery programs for those with work, child care, school, or other obligations. Outpatient treatment allows for continuing everyday activities while integrating effective strategies to manage recovery. Sanford Outpatient Center is a great place to gather for treatment and community support. A psychiatrist-led multidisciplinary team of medical and clinical professionals backs all our programs. Programs and services include medical and psychiatric assessments, day programs (PHP), half-day programs (IOP only 3 hours a day 3 days a week), outpatient groups, medication management & MAT, post-acute detox, alums & family support, and supportive living. Sanford Comprehensive Treatment for Eating Disorders (Sanford CTED) offers a full continuum of care for eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. We are located 12 minutes from Grand Rapids, in Marne, Michigan. Programs are residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient, and outpatient groups. Therapy may be individual or group; we utilize CBT, DBT, ACT, interpersonal, and family systems therapy. Clinical therapists and registered dieticians lead the groups. Emotion-focused family therapy (EFFT) is our primary family modality. Therapy includes immediate family members whenever possible, especially younger individuals still at home. We practice a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach, which honors body diversity and encourages movement for health and enjoyment, not to lose weight. Our ultimate goal for everyone we treat is to return to intuitive eating behaviors – eat when hungry, and stop when full.

At Western Michigan Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. MAT is an evidence-based approach to opioid addiction treatment that can support many positive outcomes for patients. These benefits can include increased treatment retention, improved social functioning, reduced use of prescription painkillers and illicit drugs, and decreased transmission of infectious diseases. Combining prescription medication and counseling, MAT offers patients a comprehensive treatment experience. The medications that are available in MAT can ease the challenges of ending opioid use by relieving withdrawal symptoms and reducing opioid cravings. At the same time, these medications may help patients achieve better mental clarity so that they can focus on the recovery process. In our MAT program, this process can include individual and group therapies. These supportive counseling sessions are a key part of MAT at our CTC because they can allow you to address the mental and emotional aspects of opioid addiction recovery.

Community Healing Centers treats individuals and families who are experiencing mental health disorders primarily involving substance use (alcohol and/or drugs) and trauma. We have programs for infants, their parents, adolescents and adults. We offer adult inpatient treatment for substance use disorders in Kalamazoo, a crisis center in St. Joseph, outpatient facilities in Kalamazoo and Niles and recovery housing in Kalamazoo, Niles and Sturgis. We have specialized programs for children and women. We offer intensive outpatient programming. Our inpatient program offers detoxification from alcohol and/or drugs in a medically supervised setting followed by a short-term residential stay. Harbor Oaks Hospital is a 99-bed short term inpatient behavioral health facility located in New Baltimore, northern Macomb County. We pride ourselves on affording quality healthcare to children and adolescents, adults, and older adults who are experiencing mental and behavioral healthcare concerns. We offer an inpatient substance abuse program where we provide detoxification and rehabilitation for adults.Partial hospitalization programs are available for children and adults, as well as an intensive outpatient program for adults.
