I have been providing counseling and psychotherapy for over 30 years in the Metro Detroit area and our group practice spans across the state of Michigan. With support, encouragement and expert insight many people begin to feel better after their first session. In addition to counseling and psychotherapy, we also offer psychological and educational evaluations for children and adults concerned about symptoms of Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder, Developmental Delays and more. Viewpoint Psychology and Wellness is a group practice with two locations for your needs. One office is located in Commerce Twp and one in West Bloomfield. The Wayne State University Psychology Clinic provides a vast array of services to the metro Detroit area. Within a safe, confidential, and professional environment, a variety of clinical services are offered for children, adolescents, and adults. We are able to provide comprehensive psychological assessments to help identify and provide recommendations for ADHD, trauma, learning disabilities, behavioral problems, and personal and relationship difficulties. In addition, we provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families struggling with a variety of concerns, including trauma, depression and anxiety, substance abuse and other addictions, personality and relationship problems, trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder, grief and loss, identity and career conflicts, and trouble accessing or coping with emotions.

Our Rapid 4-Day Opiate Detox Procedure is for patients addicted or dependent on heroin, pills, Suboxone, Methadone, and Fentanyl and Kratom. Day 1- patient completes intake paperwork, lab work, physical & psychological exam. We include a private room, private bathroom, flat-screen TV, WIFI and all meals are included. Day 2- patient is taken to the ICU, under the care of Award Winning, Board Certified Anesthesiologist & Addiction Specialist, Dr. Julia Aharonov. The patient receives IV Sedation and sleeps through withdrawals while closely monitored by the nursing staff. After the opiate reversal, the patient receives an FDA Approved Vivitrol® injection. Day 3- The patient comes back to their private room with 24-hour medical staff, and rests and recuperates for the day. If they experience any post-acute withdrawals, they are given non-addictive medications and receives those medications to take home. The next morning, after meeting with Dr. Aharonov, they are free to go home. Once your detox is complete, you are eligible for our detox-related aftercare. Financing is available.
