Founded in 2015, Sanford Behavioral Health is licensed and accredited as a substance use disorder, eating disorder, and co-occurring mental health treatment facility, serving the state of Michigan and beyond. Each of Sanford’s five facilities in Greater Grand Rapids, is carefully crafted to create a welcoming and comforting environment. Sanford is led by a growing team of medical, clinical, and support personnel providing medication-assisted, evidenced-based treatment to residential, outpatient and telehealth patients. Sanford House at John Street is a residential facility for adult men (18 and older). The male gendered counterpart to Cherry Street for Women, John Street offers 24/7 structured living. We provide detox, clinical programming, medical management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and male gendered therapeutic approaches. There are 20 beds for residential treatment. We back all our programs with science-based practices, wellness activities and a private chef. Individual, group, and family therapy, full continuum of care with long-term support.
