Our participants tend to be receptive to support, and are motivated to feel/get better and work towards specific goals with guidance and appropriate challenging from kind and professional adults. The PHP is a typical option for stepping down from an RTC or hospitalization, or as an intensive intervention for a teen needing more than traditional outpatient therapy. The IOP is a natural next step after completing a PHP.
