My name is Ahaoma Nnebedum, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from Walden University's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree program, and currently enrolled in Brandman's university DNP program with an anticipated completion date of May 2021. I practice both in an in-patient and out-patient setting treating patients with varying psychiatric diagnosis which include- schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorder, PTSD and other behavioral problems.

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic (Cohen Clinic) at Easterseals provides high-quality and accessible behavioral health care to veterans, active-duty service members, their families, and caregivers. Our services are available to any person who served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserves, regardless of role or discharge status. The Cohen Clinic uses evidence-based practices with a holistic approach to improve the quality of life for people with military backgrounds and their families. Services are provided by trained and credentialed staff. We treat individuals, couples, families, and children aged 4 years and older. Appointments are available for in-person care and by telehealth. We will also help connect veteran families to community resources and services, as necessary.

As a premier non-profit behavioral health system, our residential program for boys and girls, ages 6-17, treats a wide range of mental health disorders. We also offer a dual diagnosis program for co-occurring mental health illness and substance abuse. We are TRICARE-approved, with expertise and focused concentration is helping children from military families throughout the U.S. and overseas. Our 32-acre open college-like campus on the border of Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Virginia. In addition, The Barry Robinson offers an Intensive Outpatient program (IOP) for adolescents and young adults (18-24) with diagnoses including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD and who use drugs or alcohol. This service is currently offered at our Norfolk location as well as through Telehealth communications. Intensive Outpatient program is not specific to only military families.

The Dorm is an affirming, CARF-Accredited young adult intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) community in Washington, D.C. on a mission to help young people build a life of independence. We serve young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 with immersive day and evening services that include clinical therapies, practical skill-building and community support. We specialize in treating substance use, trauma, anxiety and depressive disorders, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders and supporting with executive function deficits. Personalized treatment plans scale from 3-30+ hours a week following expert assessment. Comprehensive care encompasses 1:1 therapy (licensed clinicians trained in over 11 clinical modalities including DBT, CBT, EMDR and Cognitive Remediation), individualized life skills coaching, group therapy, family therapy, nutritional support with registered dietitians, academic and vocational services, a unique community clubhouse experience with social activities and events as well as holistic health and wellness services (yoga, mindfulness, physical fitness). Supportive housing opportunities and partial residential support available.

The Center For Motivation and Change (“CMC”) is a unique outpatient private group practice with locations in NYC, Long Island, and DC. We are staffed by a team of experienced psychologists who are driven by an optimism about people’s capacity to change as well as a commitment to the science of change. Our clinicians are all deeply trained in research-supported therapies that target substance use/compulsive behaviors patterns as well the mental health issues that often accompany these problems such as Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)/complex trauma and anxiety/mood disorders.

Alta Loma is a transformational experience for individuals diagnosed with chronic Psychiatric and Substance Abuse issues. Alta Loma is designed as a solution for individuals with Psychiatric and Substance Use Disorders who may not have found success at other traditional treatment programs. By providing a structured environment where residents can find emotional and psychological stability, Alta Loma will address the whole person and help them to integrate successfully into society.

WestBridge is a family founded non-profit organization that provides integrated treatment for adults with mental illness, with or without co-occurring substance use. Located in Manchester, NH we provide Residential Treatment and a Community Integration Program (CIP) for men, and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for all genders. Our residential program is CARF accredited (since 2010) and licensed by the State of NH Department of Health and Human Services for mental illness and substance use treatment. We are participant and family-centric with an emphasis on community, and evidence-based practices. We are in-network with multiple commercial insurance companies and provide treatment for Veterans through an agreement with Optum.
