The Nichols House Couples Intensive serves couples who feel disconnected, stuck, or trapped in what Dr. Nichols calls the "Roommate Syndrome"—living together but no longer feeling close, connected, or understood. Many couples arrive after years of frustration, communication problems, emotional distance, recurring arguments, or a loss of intimacy and affection. Unlike traditional weekly counseling, our private intensive weekend provides focused, uninterrupted time to identify destructive patterns, rebuild emotional connection, and develop practical tools for lasting change. Couples stay in a beautiful and private Victorian home.
