Healing Individuals

Maple Mountain recovery offers the highest quality and most advanced programs for alcohol, drug, and dual diagnosis treatment. We take a modern approach that has been thoroughly researched and proven to be successful. Our highly-experienced clinical team focuses on the root causes of each individual's addiction and behavioral issues, to address the patterns that lead to repetitive self-destructive behaviors. We believe in empowering our clients in their quest for awareness, insight, happiness, fulfillment, and motivation.

Overcoming trauma and addiction

Using alcohol and drugs is a maladaptive coping skill, often accompanied by underlying issues of trauma, mental health problems, personality disorders and environmental issues. The staff at Maple Mountain Recovery in Mapleton, Utah work towards providing trauma-informed care, and are experts in treating trauma. Our therapists work hard each day to try to change the field by treating addiction as a disease. While many treatment professionals say they understand addiction is disease, many still treat it like a moral issue. We recognize that our clients' challenges, disturbances in their personality, and behavior changes are caused by brain changes. Most of our clients have a dual diagnosis, which means they are not only healing from addiction, but also mental health problems such as PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression and so on. We treat our patients with care, respect and understanding they are sick. Safety is our most important value. When our clients feel safe in our facility, they can start healing from their trauma and improve their lives.
