We Use a An Integrated Approach to Helping People

Addiction is viewed from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual perspective. It is NOT a moral failure, bus is instead an illness that is primary (addiction is diagnosable with its own criteria, as opposed to being a secondary and maladaptive response to another core diagnostic), progressive, chronic, fatal and treatable. Our addiction treatment model is based upon the Developmental Model of Recovery, which serves as a functional roadmap for plotting a sustainable recovery plan while reducing or eliminating relapse. We also address Co-Occurring disorders, which may include depression, anxiety as well as process addiction disorders such as gambling or eating disorders. We recognize and treat Trauma within a trauma informed care environment. . Trauma survivors view and live in the world differently than others and as such, require that effective and helpful providers of care possess specialized sensitivities and knowledge in working with this special population.
