Comprehensive Relapse Prevention Group
The comprehensive relapse prevention group follows a 16 week format utilizing the CENAPS Model (Terrence Gorski) workbook and curriculum. This cognitive behavioral model requires group participation of 1.5-2 hours weekly, along with extensive homework and concurrent IndividualFamily Counseling sessions. Criteria for admission requires a diagnosis of chemical dependency and a track record of sustained recovery with relapse or impending relapse probability. The Developmental Model of Recovery serves as a template for identifying the regressive patterns of relapse and the appropriate intervention strategies.
Multi Family Group
Follows a combined educational format integrated with processing of pertinent issues within a multi-family setting. Topics include: • Clinical Terminology • Roles in the Family System • Rules in family Systems/Parenting Styles • Family Systems/In Addiction • Co-Dependency/Enabling • Communication/Assertiveness • Developmental Model of Recovery • Disease/Recovery Process • Self-defeating Behaviors • Prompt Problem Solving
Explorations Group
No questions off limits! This is a safe space to explore your relationship with alcohol andor drugs to determine for yourself how you want to address these issues. The group provides education and a processing opportunity under the facilitation of a licensed therapist to converse with others as you explore these questions.
