Our life-affirming philosophy is based on helping individuals of all ages overcome eating, exercise, and body image disorders. We treat Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, Compulsive Exercise, Orthorexia, ARFID, Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED). We help clients achieve what may at first seem impossible to imagine- a life of inner peace, wholeness and happiness. Our team of specialists work with each individual to foster growth and meaningful recovery. We have three different levels of care, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Outpatient services.

Since 2007, Woodleaf has helped clients with anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder recover. We are the longest running eating disorder program in Northern California and our specialty binge eating program has been running over 16 years. Our adult program is intentionally small creating a safe, private environment in which to heal. Our convenient evening hours are designed so professionals and students can keep living their lives while they recover. Insurance often covers program costs and we offer scholarships whenever possible. All of our staff are licensed experts (no interns) and have been working together for years. The goal of Balance Treatment Center Intensive Outpatient program is to provide our clients a path to long-term stability and well-being using a balanced approach that the clients will be able to follow in their daily lives. Balance IOP provides treatment, support and education to those struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, oppositional defiance, psychosis, and substance abuse issues including dual diagnosis. Those who enter our program will be welcomed into a supportive and structured group environment, consisting of people struggling with similar challenges, where they will be made to feel comfortable expressing their struggles and concerns. Our team of seasoned clinicians offers a variety of clinical backgrounds to expose our clients to a range of therapeutic approaches so that our collective clinical knowledge can best suit each client's unique needs.

Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services treats teen boys and girls ages 12 – 17 experiencing substance use and mental health conditions. Our campuses are beautiful, home-like settings in Clovis, Sonoma County, and Riverside, California, where clients enjoy camaraderie, benefit from intensive integrated therapy, and enjoy recreation and experiential therapy activities. Boys and girls are treated and housed separately to eliminate drama and distraction. This program provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for teens experiencing a range of behavioral healthcare issues, including substance use disorders, anxiety, OCD, depression, mood disorders, and suicidality. Programming is trauma-informed to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where teens can feel open and comfortable engaging in treatment and focusing on their care without distractions. Muir Wood is also in-network with Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna, Halcyon, Kaiser Permanente, Magellan, MHN, and Optum.

Center For Discovery has been providing excellent behavioral health treatment since treating our first client in 1997. Discovery offers a full continuum of care specializing in the unique and specific needs associated with eating disorder, mental health, and substance abuse treatment. Discovery treats adult women 18 and over and adolescent males and females ages 10 - 19 in separate programs. Our treatment locations offer a warm and engaging environment that fosters long term recovery. Each program treats a small number of clients at a time allowing for truly individualized care that is focused on healing both the client and their family.

We accept Medi-Cal through the Central California Alliance for Health, Medicare and some private insurance. If you are paying privately, you will be responsible for a portion of the fee based on a sliding scale related to your monthly family income. If you have been referred by one of our partner organizations, please mention them when you call for services and we will waive any intake fees that would be your responsibility.
