We offer individual, couple, and family therapy as well as psychological evaluation and psychological testing. We tailor treatment to your needs so we will chose between psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral approach to therapy based on your needs or may combine several of these approaches to best facilitate your therapeutic goals. We work with a wide range of behavioral and emotional disorders, utilizing a holistic body and mind approach. When needed, we provide referrals to acupuncture, yoga, relaxation and qigong classes, as we believe that body and mind interact with each other. We believe in a healthy mind in a healthy body. If requested by the patient or deemed appropriate by the provider, we can also provide referral for medication prescription and management. We believe that psychological treatment in combination with complementary therapeutic approaches (e.g., relaxation, yoga and acupuncture) provide the best outcome for the patient. Eating Disorder Support Group
Having an eating disorder can be a stressful, challenging and lonely experience. Group therapy can help you to feel less alone, improve self understanding and develop improved communication and skills for coping with the disordered patterns. This group will provide a safe space to explore and better understand your patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving as well as help you to develop coping skills and techniques. Group therapy is an important part of recovery as it helps reduce secrecy, enhance connection and create a space where you can provide and obtain support, learn from others and feel heard and understood.
