Arbour Hospital has a long history of providing a continuum of quality behavioral health care in the greater Boston area. We serve adolescents and adults in an inpatient hospital in Jamaica Plain and two outpatient locations, in Jamaica Plain and Quincy.

At Walden Behavioral Care, we have spent more than a decade engaging our patients and their families in eating disorder treatment services. Successful treatment requires a combination of medical, nutritional, behavioral and psychiatric care. Because of our expert staff and community involvement we are able to place patients in the correct level of care that they need whether with us or one of our trusted outside providers. We offer a full continuum of care so that our patients can have one admission to any of our levels of care. We offer Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Residential, and Inpatient Care.

Susan Long is a Master prepared licensed therapist as well as a board certified Psychiatric Nurse practitioner. She is the owner of The Rested Mind and founded it in 2010 to serve the South Shore Massachusetts area. We have a relationship with the Archdiocese of Boston and provides services to abuse survivors. We are also honored to see active duty military and veterans ( Tricare Accepted) as well as Police, Fire and First responders. The practice was originally started for children but we expanded our services and now sees patients up to age 65 ( no medicare/medicaid). We have about 14 providers and can address a wide variety of issues. You DO NOT need change your therapist to get medication services from us as we believe comfort with a provider is important. We are open 9am in the morning until 10pm at night Mon-Thursday, Friday 10am to 4pm and Sundays 10am to 6pm to accommodate those who cannot leave work during normal business hours. We are closed Saturdays.

The Triangle Program at Arbour-HRI Hospital offers both Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). Services include short-term intensive group therapy geared towards the unique mental health needs of the adult LGBTQIAA+ population. Common issues addressed include, but are not limited to, mood instability, stress, anxiety, depression, disorganized thinking, trauma, co-occurring addictions, and gender dysphoria. Participants attend group therapy sessions, meet with a clinician for individual counseling and case management needs, and a psychiatric prescriber for medication management. For all of the PHPs at Arbour-HRI Hospital, breakfast and lunch are provided as a part of the program. As well, participants can be supported in securing transportation within a ten-mile radius to and from the program. Requests for transportation services must be made after the initial intake.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation utilizes strong magnetic pulses to regulate activity in precisely targeted brain areas.
