The latin word for LIGHT is LUMOS... our mission at Lumos Youth Counseling is to shed LIGHT within each client on the path to recovery and happiness from the turmoils of adverse mental health issues. Lumos Youth Counseling services is dedicated to serving children with autism, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, mood disorders, personality disorders and addiction recovery issues. We provide Day Treatment and Intensive OutPatient programming for youth ages 10-17. Our OutPatient programming for step down purposes. If your child or loved one is in need of mental health help, please let us shed LIGHT on the healing path that comes from quality therapy. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) & (IOP)
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) This level of care is also known as Day Treatment, with programming all day, five days a week, Monday to Friday from 8:30-3:00. This is often a solution for youth who need more than an hour of individual therapy a week, but who do not quite qualify for a residential level of care. Our PHP day program offers comprehensive clinical care through individual and family therapy, group therapy, experiential therapy, and a stabilizing routine five days a week, and teens return home to their families and homes at the end of each day. Our program is build on the principles of Dialectic Behavior Therapy of core mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Lumos Youth Counseling PHP program also provides academic support and tutoring so teens can continue to progress in their education while receiving the treatment they need.Intensive outpatient services (IOP) For youth who are continuing to attend school during the day, a youth Intensive Outpatient Program with afternoon hours provides ongoing care and community throughout the week, while benefiting the entire family with regular check-ins and support groups.
