Teenager Residential Treatment Facility
Situated in Central Florida, Lotus Behavioral Health’s facility serves the behavioral health needs of teenagers aged 12-17 facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. As adolescents recover and heal with individualized services and our specialized addiction treatment, our 20,000 sq ft residential treatment facility will be their home. Our groups and sessions focus on a whole-person perspective that helps clients answer the questions "Who Am I?" and "How did I get here?". We help both the individual and their family delve into the core issues of fear, acceptance, rejection, coping and thought distortion. What Do We Offer?

Addiction recovery is a life-long mission. The Lotus flower rises, even in the mud. What we do here is show our adolescents how to take care of themselves and to know how to manage their substance-use and mental health disorders. When your teenager starts to act differently and distance themselves from you, it is a warning sign that they need support and love. Parents may not know what to say or do in these situations, but counseling is the first step. Lotus Behavioral Health is equipped to bridge the gap of communication between the parent and the child. Sometimes it feels like you’re speaking two different languages, and it is easier to give up than to keep trying. Our therapists will help our patients recognize, feel and communicate their thoughts and emotions. It is our priority to make sure that they are heard. What we want to teach our teenagers is that they cannot control the world around them, but they can learn how to respond to it. We want them to leave our facility feeling whole, so that when they are faced with a decision, they’ll choose a path that makes them rise from the mud like a Lotus flower.
