Adult Partial Hospitalization Program
At Life Center of Hillsville, we offer a premier partial hospitalization program (PHP) for men who are in need of structured care for substance use disorders and certain co-occurring mental health concerns, like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder. Our PHP is available as either a step-down level of care from inpatient or residential treatment or as a stand-alone treatment option. While the length of programming may vary, the average length of stay in this program is 10-21 days. Patients in our PHP can take part in an array of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, 12-Step programming, journaling, and leisure and recreational activities. Each patient receives an individualized care plan that outlines the therapies and services they’ll participate in. Treatment Approach

Based on this information, we provide them with a personalized treatment plan that can help them achieve optimal results. Our PHP includes a variety of services, such as medical care, medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, group counseling, and experiential therapy. Group counseling is an essential component of treatment, and patients in our PHP can benefit from participating in a wide range of groups. During group sessions, patients have a unique opportunity to share their experiences with people who have faced similar challenges, allowing them to build meaningful bonds and gain new perspectives.
